WORK | Oxfam Vintage, darling!

During my time at Oxfam Fashion I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time around gorgeous vintage and preloved clothing. During my final week we took a venture up to the Oxfam Southern Logistics Centre - Milton Point which is also home to the Oxfam Online Hub which is one of the many locations which lists the wonderful items on the Oxfam Online Shop.

This place is any vintage fashionistas sweet shop with endless rails of donated clothing stretching across the floor, heaving with anything from high street to designer delights.

WORK | WOMAD Festival 2013

A couple of weeks ago, as part of Oxfam's Team Fash, we ventured into the Somerset wilderness to the World of Music Arts and Dance festival (WOMAD). I'd heard this festival would be nothing like anything I'd been to before but this couldn't be closer to the truth. The kooky vibe is like no other mainstream Summer event and, with no prior knowledge of ANY of the line-up, it was a place of refreshing discovery. Although blogging and general fashion commitments meant we barely caught any music (with the exception of the Malawi Mice Boys), the absorption on site was enough to really FEEL WOMAD.

WORK | LATITUDE FESTIVAL GRADUATE FASHION SHOW

Here's a snippet of the Graduate Fashion Show at Latitude Festival 2013. Models strutted across the lake, as if floating on the gleaming water, wearing creations by graduates of the University of Arts London including Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion and Chelsea College of Art.

 The show was curated by Deborah Britz, the models are all signed to Storm and Jamie Laing and Bip Ling were the fantastic lakeside comperes.
