A couple of weeks ago, as part of Oxfam's Team Fash, we ventured into the Somerset wilderness to the World of Music Arts and Dance festival (WOMAD). I'd heard this festival would be nothing like anything I'd been to before but this couldn't be closer to the truth. The kooky vibe is like no other mainstream Summer event and, with no prior knowledge of ANY of the line-up, it was a place of refreshing discovery. Although blogging and general fashion commitments meant we barely caught any music (with the exception of the Malawi Mice Boys), the absorption on site was enough to really FEEL WOMAD.
